Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups whole milk Use full-fat for the richest flavor.
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Choose high-quality for better melting.
  • 1/3 cup strawberry syrup Fresh is best for flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Garnishes
  • whipped cream For topping.
  • fresh strawberries, halved or diced For decoration.
  • white chocolate shavings For decoration.
  • pink or red sprinkles For decoration.

Method

Heating the Base
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the 2 cups of whole milk and 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. Heat until steaming but not boiling, about 5 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent scalding.
  2. Stir occasionally to ensure the milk doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
Melting the Chocolate
  1. Add the 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips to the steaming milk mixture. Whisk constantly until fully melted. The mixture should become creamy in texture.
  2. Keep the temperature low to avoid grainy chocolate.
Flavor Boost
  1. Once the chocolate is melted, whisk in 1/3 cup of strawberry syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully combined.
Serving
  1. Divide the hot chocolate evenly into mugs.
Garnish & Enjoy
  1. Top with whipped cream and your desired garnishes such as halved strawberries, white chocolate shavings, and sprinkles.

Notes

For leftovers, refrigerate for up to 3 days and reheat gently. Customize with non-dairy alternatives or additional flavors like peppermint.
