Ingredients
  

For the strawberry puree
  • 5 pieces fresh strawberries Fresh or thawed if frozen.
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar Adjust according to sweetness.
For the latte
  • 1 teaspoon hojicha powder Use high-quality hojicha powder.
  • 1/4 cup warm water Helps dissolve hojicha.
  • 2/3 cup almond milk Unsweetened for healthier option.
  • as needed cup ice For a refreshing cold drink.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small container, add the strawberries and granulated sugar. Mash them using a muddler until the mixture is smooth, and the sugar is fully dissolved into the strawberries. Set aside.
  2. In a different small bowl, add the hojicha powder. Pour in the warm water and whisk vigorously until smooth and lump-free.
Assembly
  1. Drizzle the strawberry sauce over the bottom of a glass.
  2. Fill the glass with ice cubes—about halfway or more.
  3. Pour in the almond milk, leaving space for the hojicha.
  4. Gently pour the hojicha over the milk and ice, creating beautiful swirls.
