  • 2 large eggs At room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds richness
Mix-Ins
  • 2 cups chopped Snickers bars About 15 fun-sized bars, fresh for best texture

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
Mixing
  1. In a mixer, cream the butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar on medium-high speed for 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Combining
  1. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture on low speed.
  2. Fold in the Snickers and caramel bits, reserving some for topping.
Baking
  1. Drop rounded portions of dough onto the lined baking sheet and chill dough for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 9 to 11 minutes.
  3. Cool on baking sheet for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, ensure butter is at room temperature and do not skip chilling the dough to prevent spreading.
