Preparation
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
Mixing
- In a mixer, cream the butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar on medium-high speed for 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
Combining
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture on low speed.
- Fold in the Snickers and caramel bits, reserving some for topping.
Baking
- Drop rounded portions of dough onto the lined baking sheet and chill dough for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 9 to 11 minutes.
- Cool on baking sheet for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, ensure butter is at room temperature and do not skip chilling the dough to prevent spreading.
