  • 500 g frozen green beans Choose high-quality, organic beans if possible.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Extra virgin olive oil for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Use fresh or high-quality powder for better flavor.
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese Fresh cheese melts better than pre-grated.
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds Optional, adds a delightful crunch.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F).
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. Spread the frozen green beans evenly over the lined baking tray.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the beans, add garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then toss gently.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top of the beans.
Cooking
  1. Place the tray in the preheated oven and roast for about 20 minutes.
  2. Remove from the oven, then sprinkle with extra parmesan and the sesame seeds.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or add to salads for a refreshing crunch.
