Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt the butter fully but do not let it bubble.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, then add chopped parsley and remove from heat.
- Add the bread cubes to the skillet and toss to coat each piece in the garlic butter mixture.
Baking
- Place the skillet into the preheated oven and bake for 15-17 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the croutons are crispy and lightly browned.
- Allow them to cool completely on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider using flavored oils or experimenting with different breads. Ensure not to overcrowd the skillet while baking.
