  • ½ tablespoon extra virgin olive oil Use high-quality oil for rich flavor.
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 1 head medium cabbage, chopped Must be firm, bright green, and heavy for size.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce is preferred.

Preparation
  1. Rinse the cabbage under cold water, cut it in half, remove the core, and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.
Cooking
  1. Heat ½ tablespoon of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until wilted but still retains some crunch.
  4. Pour in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, tossing everything together for 1 more minute until well combined and heated through.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, consider a splash of sesame oil or sesame seeds on top before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
