Preparation
- In a serving bowl, layer 1/2 cup of cottage cheese at the bottom.
- Add 1 cup of sliced, cooked breaded chicken breast on top of the cottage cheese.
- Spoon 1/2 cup of marinara sauce evenly over the chicken.
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Garnish with freshly chopped basil leaves. Optionally, broil for 2 minutes until the top is melted and golden.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. To maintain texture, layer ingredients separately if freezing.
