Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz half & half Ensure it's fresh for optimal creaminess.
  • 2 oz peppermint schnapps Look for a good quality brand, such as DeKuyper or Rumple Minze.
  • 2 oz vanilla vodka A smooth vodka like Absolut Vanilla or Smirnoff Vanilla is recommended.
  • 1 oz agave syrup (optional) Adds sweetness; adjust according to taste.
  • 4 count candy canes Choose vibrant, fresh candy canes for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush two candy canes in a plastic bag or between two sheets of plastic wrap.
  2. Spread the crushed candy canes on a small plate.
  3. Rim the edges of each martini glass with agave syrup and dip into the crushed candy canes.
Mixing
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice.
  2. Add half & half, peppermint schnapps, vanilla vodka, and agave syrup (if using).
  3. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until frosty.
Serving
  1. Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glasses.
  2. Garnish each drink with a candy cane.

Notes

Chill martini glasses in the freezer for a frosty touch. Keep leftover mix for up to 48 hours in the fridge.
