Ingredients
  

Berries
  • 2 cups blueberries Fresh or frozen, preferably organic.
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped Use the freshest strawberries available.
  • 1 cup raspberries Choose bright, plump berries for best results.
  • 1/2 cup cherries, pitted and halved Sweet cherries work best.
Cake Mix and Topping
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces) Any favorite brand will do, Duncan Hines is recommended.
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced Chilled butter yields a crisper topping.
  • for topping whipped cream Optional, for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish generously with non-stick spray.
  3. Layer the blueberries, chopped strawberries, raspberries, and halved cherries evenly in the baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the layered fruits.
  5. Dollop the cold diced butter pieces over the cake mix.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream if desired.

Ensure berries are washed and dried thoroughly before use. This recipe can be customized with other seasonal fruits or dietary variations.
