Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Take each jalapeno half and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture into it, ensuring it’s generously filled. Place the stuffed jalapenos on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lay a piece of crispy bacon on top of each popper, pressing down slightly to secure it in place.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the poppers are bubbly and lightly browned.
- Remove them from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider broiling the poppers for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end, watching closely to avoid burning. Leftover poppers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
