Ingredients
  

For the Wreath
  • 25 pieces frozen Rhodes rolls Let them thaw at room temperature.
  • 21 ounces homemade apple pie filling or 1 can, chopped, divided Homemade is recommended for the best flavor.
  • 1 large egg, beaten For an egg wash to achieve a golden crust.
For the Streusel Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For streusel topping.
  • ½ cup light brown sugar, packed For sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Enhances flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt Enhances sweetness.
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted Keeps everything moist and rich.
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar For drizzling on top.
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk Combine with sugar for glaze.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Remove the Rhodes rolls from the package and place them onto a greased baking sheet. Cover with greased plastic wrap. Thaw on the counter or in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Flatten each roll with your palm and place about 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center. Wrap the dough around the filling and pinch to seal.
Assembling and Baking
  1. Arrange the rolled apples in a circular pattern on a greased baking sheet, leaving space for expansion. Brush with the beaten egg.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the streusel. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over the rolls.
  3. Bake for 30-34 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Cool slightly and whisk together confectioners' sugar and milk until smooth. Pour glaze over warm wreath before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week. You may prepare the rolls in advance and freeze before baking.
