Preparation
- Set out two small plates. On the first plate, pour the apple cider. On the second plate, mix together sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Wet the rim of each lowball glass with apple cider, then roll the edge in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Mixing the Cocktail
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, apple cider, fresh lime juice, and crushed ice.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Serving
- Fill each prepared lowball glass with fresh crushed ice.
- Strain the cocktail mixture evenly into each glass over the ice.
- Garnish each drink with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick.
Notes
Ensure all liquids are at room temperature for the best blending. Leftover mixtures can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Adjust sweetness by adding a sprinkle of sugar if too tart.
