Method
Mix the Base
- In a large bowl, combine bourbon, apple cider, lemon juice, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon. Whisk until fully combined and frothy.
Add the Milk
- In a separate large bowl, pour in whole milk and gently stir in the apple cider mixture.
Chill It
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
Strain
- Pour the mixture through a coffee filter set over another bowl or pitcher to strain out solids.
Serve
- Fill a lowball glass with crushed ice, pour the strained mixture over the ice, and serve immediately.
Notes
Keep any leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days. Make ahead for larger gatherings, but wait to add ice.
