Method
Preparation
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the granulated sugar with apple pie spice.
- Open the can of biscuits and separate each dough piece into two layers, yielding 16 smaller rounds.
- Press each layer into a 4-inch circle to form the base for your bombs.
Filling and Forming
- In a small bowl, mix the apple pie filling with cinnamon.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the apple filling into the center of each biscuit circle. Fold the dough sides together and pinch the seams tightly to avoid leakage.
Cooking
- Spray your air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and place the bombs in, leaving space between them.
- Air fry at 350°F for 8-9 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the bombs and dip each in melted butter, then roll in the sugar and spice mixture.
Serving
- Serve the bombs warm or at room temperature for the best experience.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge. These bombs can be frozen for up to 3 months; thaw and reheat in the air fryer.
